The ideal candidate

  • A completed financial or business education at university level, preferably supplemented with a completed postgraduate RA or RC training;
  • At least 5 years of work experience within accountancy, in a corporate role or at a head office;
  • Experience within a logistics and/or production environment is a strong advantage;
  • You are a broadly developed finance professional with strong analytical skills to oversee the overall picture and to distinguish main from side issues;
  • Ambitious personality with a good factor and able to connect people;
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

The job profile

  • Consolidation, financial control, capex, cash management and treasury;
  • Jointly responsible for corporate affairs, taxation, transfer pricing, currency management and M&A processes;
  • Optimization of the P&C cycle, taking care of and monitoring the forecast & budget process and consolidating all Royal Ahrend entities;
  • Taking care of the periodic closings and statements and various reports to the shareholder and banker;
  • Monitoring and further development of business KPIs and dashboards (in collaboration with business control);
  • Elaboration of business cases with regard to acquisition, pension, legal affairs, insurance and Grants.
