The ideal candidate

As CFO NL of GroupM, you bring more than the technical competencies in Finance alone. You have shown that you have vision for the future and that you can translate that vision to everyone within the organization. You bring an entrepreneurial mindset and have a good sense of relationships. You are  people-oriented and a motivating and inspiring manager. You are able to guard your goal as the dot on the horizon, moving along with it when necessary but also feel comfortable to stand firm when the situation demands it. You are experienced in setting up and driving business finance: you stand for a shared approach to provide insights into improvement opportunities within the businesses and know how to turn these opportunities into action. 

Furthermore you bring:

• Progressive experience (15yrs+) in a business focused CFO or Finance Director position; 
• Preferably experience in professional services or similar B2B business models (business services, services, hours/projects);
• Balanced, connecting personality who brings energy and is able to easily create and maintain support and team spirit;
• High degree of personal integrity combined with an entrepreneurial/pragmatic attitude. Thinks along with the business, is also the financial conscience when needed;
• Team coach and mentor with a natural interest in people, moves easily inside and outside the organization and communicates easily on different levels;
• Proactive and critical attitude, solution-oriented, accurate and hands-on mentality. Alert, crisp mind, understanding the details, but also able to distinguish main from secondary issues;
• Hands-on, lead by example;
• IT literate, knowledgeable and able to work with different systems easily;
• Strong language skills; fluency in English and Dutch required.
