The Benelux & France region (BeNeFra) is part of the business unit Continental Europe Middle East and Africa with a bakery ingredients production site in Dordrecht and commercial offices in Belgium and France. 

The job profile

As the Finance & IT Director for the BeNeFra region, you partner directly with the regional General Manager. This full-fledged role in the is a key leadership role in the local business, connected and operating within a truly international, diverse and inclusive network organisation where you can make the difference.

This role provides an outstanding career opportunity where you play a pivotal role in the definition of the business strategy and in driving its execution. You work very close with the commercial and operations directors in the region and have regular contact with EMEA and Global HQ. You will manage 6-8 direct reports. Travel is required to different sites and/or abroad a few times a year. 

The purpose of this role is to provide strong Finance and IT leadership to the business with the following areas of responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Business Partnering;
  • Delivery of Financial Management and Control Environment;
  • Functional leadership of the Finance and IT teams;
  • Compliance and Statutory Responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master Degree in Business Administration or equivalent;
  • Professional post graduate finance qualifications;
  • Minimal 10+yrs experience in senior finance business partnering;
  • Experience in both commercial and manufacturing finance in SME in structured group;
  • Experience in differentiated commodity business (encompassing commodity and value-added businesses);
  • Network organisation ways of working;
  • Fluency in English and Dutch; French knowledge is a plus.
