Broadview is an industrial holding that pursues long-term growth and value creation through active support of its operating companies and efficient capital allocation. Broadview is a holding company, belonging to HAL Investments, following the acquisition of Arpa as a sister company to Trespa. Currently, the holding office exists of roughly 30 professionals with backgrounds in investing, multinationals and tier-one accounting-, consulting- and law firms.

The companies grouped under Broadview currently employ around 6.000 employees worldwide and are currently active in two clusters: Energy and Material Technology. To further grow the business, Broadview pursues an active M&A growth strategy. Initial focus is on expanding the position in the mentioned value chains.

The job profile

The goal of the internal audit role is to further improve the internal control environment within the group worldwide, to further solidify the reliability of financial reporting and monitor compliance.

The role oversees a portfolio of 13 operating companies and a total of 80 legal entities worldwide. The business portfolio is broad: from production to trade and from rentals to service contracts. Further growth through M&A is part of the setting. In the past years, the group has increased in size significantly. To realize all synergy potential, many cross-company projects have been identified while at the same time the companies have to synchronize with the Broadview rhythm.

The ideal candidate

  • Master degree in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting;
  • NBA registered (and as such a completed RA/RO study or international equivalent);
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in an international manufacturing environment; IFRS knowledge is required;
  • Well-developed analytical skills: self-propelling and curious, able to prepare structured and crisp hypotheses and analyses using the available data and reports.
  • Synthesizing skills: able to summarize significant amounts of information and reports into the key messages, in order to be able to communicate to internal and external stakeholders about a topic;
  • A structured working approach as well as a high degree of accuracy;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint native;
  • Open to international travel.
