As a disrupter that boldly takes an established industry, Insify is revolutionizing the business insurance sector by offering an end-to-end digital insurance platform designed specifically for Europe’s entrepreneurs and SMEs. Since the founding in 2020, Insify has raised €43million, in various investment rounds in 2022, 2023 and 2025, from leading investors (Accel Ventures, Frontline Ventures, Visionaries Club, Formula 1 World Champion Nico Rosberg, Munich Re Ventures, Opera Tech Ventures etc.) who love what Insify does and see the potential for a revolution in digital insurance. Insify has grown its customer base from 1.500 in 2022 to over 30.000 in 2025, expanded into France and Germany, and launched its own disability insurance product in the Netherlands. As this hyper growth journey continues they are looking for an high energy, intelligent and entrepreneurial VP Finance to join the ride.

The job profile

The VP Finance will report into the CEO, be part of and will act as the (financial) business partner within the leadership team. You will drive the (strategic) financial agenda and co-lead, steer and support the ambitious mission of Insify. As a pioneer in digital insurance, the company stands poised to redefine the insurance landscape. To make an impactful contribution to this journey, the VP Finance should be a committed, engaging financial leader with a passion for innovative industry disrupters and a track record steering a (hyper) growth company. 

Insify is an extremely dynamic organization, scaling quickly in a complex and international environment. Your focus will be on building a robust, agile, and scalable financial foundation whilst contributing actively to shaping the strategic agenda and ensuring its execution and oversight.

You naturally immerse yourself in the business to grasp the full picture—commercial, technical, and operational—while closely tracking key metrics, identifying risks, and uncovering opportunities. With a sharp eye for change, you continuously reassess priorities in response to shifts in the business, market, or regulatory environment. Your proactive mindset keeps the company ahead of the curve, mitigates risk, rationalize costs and drives sound, forward-looking decision-making.

The ideal candidate

  • Master’s degree in Corporate Finance or Economics, preferably complemented by a post-master qualification 
  • Proven experience as a CFO/Finance Director, or second in command, in a rapidly growing, tech-based company, preferably internationally oriented 
  • Experience in investor relations, strategy, financial modelling and external financing is highly valued
  • Proven experience in building robust, scalable financial processes — across regulatory compliance, accounting, reporting, business partnering, tax, and cash management — leveraging cutting-edge automation and AI where possible
  • Fluency in English is required; Dutch or French is a plus
  • You bring grit and full-scale commitment, mental agility and an adaptive mindset
  • You are tech-savvy and scale-up ready, a clear communicator with high EQ and IQ
  • You bring authentic leadership with a builder’s mindset
